You know life is funny....

Hi everyone,

The chemo is taking it's toll on me. I'm sorry if I am not very social but I have been struggling for the past several days. I hate to complain as I feel very blessed that I am alive.

That said, I just found out that my cousin was just diagnosed with ALL. This is very sad news. I am posting the link to his site below. Please take a look when you have some free time.

  1. Ryan I know your pain and struggles all to well as I watch my daughter go through the same roller coaster of a ride in her journey through cancer. Know you are close to my heart always and when your heart aches so does mine:( I will pray for you and your sweet cousin and all the many cancer freinds that have become our family in this journey.

We have to have faith and fight the good fight and I know thats what you ,your cousin and Karlie are doing with great courage.

May you and your cousin feels gods comfort this day and through out your journey is my prayer. Ryan I love you :) Kelly

  3. Hello Ryan,

I've just discovered your link through another blog and just want to let you know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Your cousin too. I know about A.L.L. because my little girl Bianca just recently completed her treatment for A.L.L.

Do stay strong and hang in there!

  4. Dear Ryan

Oh I am so sorry to hear about your little cousin! All the best wishes heading his way!

And now you..... Taking note of and sharing your experiences and side effects of your medications is not complaining. Yes, it's fantastic to be alive and all that, but please don't keep this to yourself because you don't want to sound as if you are 'complaining'.

Not only does sharing let others know that some of their side effects are 'normal', but it will help others share back with you when/if they have the same side effects.

That said, hang in there and I hope to read soon that you are feeling better. It's a really tough adjustment. Obviously I don't know this first hand, but I have watched Steven go through the early stages into the easier times.

May this happen for you too soon.

    love and light
    Annie
